IMCP Alumni visit Host Family after graduation
Castel Education work with a wonderful range of host families that our International Medical Commencement Programme students stay with during their initial year in Ireland.
Host Families play an important role in the development of our students. Introducing them to Irish culture, Irish food and improving their language abilities daily.
Students describe staying in a host family as having ‘a home away from home’ and helps them to become accustom to life in Ireland.
Many of our Alumni keep in touch with host families long after they complete their studies and continue to visit. This is mainly due to our host families treating the students as part of the family while they stay with them in Tralee.
The visitor below is Dr. Mariya AlBalushi from Oman. Dr. AlBalushi visited her former host mother Donna and her daughter Keira to celebrate her recent graduation from RCSI.
Dr. AlBalushi lived with Donna and her family during the 2014/2015 Academic Year.
